• Sarojini Nagar Market is located in South Delhi and is a popular destination for students, tourists and locals.
• All types of things such as, From cotton garments to fashionable bags, cosmetics, home furnishings, sweaters, footwear and other accessories, one can get without affecting the budget.

What you bought?

• I went to many branded shops to buy footwear buy their prices were sky high, so I decided to purchase heels from that market. I purchased it at a very affordable price.
• I bought two items from there, one was high heel footwear, and another was a handbag.
• It is black colour footwear. It is very comfortable. my friend and I also bought a handbag.
• I purchased it because my college bag was tiny, so I always faced problems carrying many things. The bag is black in colour and has three pockets that can quickly bring big and small items.

How you felt about it?

• I felt very happy because I got products at a very low price but with the best quality.

Small shops cater to the immediate needs of the people. So small shops small markets will never disappear although they might suffer a decrease in sales.

3. Have people’s shopping habits changed in recent years?
Yes, people have started shopping online, and going to small markets and shopping malls has gone down. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has also given a big boost to online shopping trends, and this change has come around only in the last year or two.

What are the differences between shopping in street markets and big shopping malls?In big shopping malls, the prices are fixed, and there the people pick up things on their own, and there is nobody to tell them about the products. However, in street markets, there is a lot of bargaining, and the products are described in detail by the salespersons.
