Well, from my personal standpoint, all stages of life are quintessential for holistic growth & development. But Childhood..I believe..is most important phase. A child is as innocent as dove and his mind can be moulded into any form. Hence, this stage of life determines the fate of a nation.
Like I am working right now, so the next stage of my life is to get married and start a family. You know… everyone needs someone to be on their side in this exhilarating journey of life. I think the time has come that I should move on to the next stage of my life.
Yes I know the history of my country pretty well! The name ‘India’ is derived from the River Indus, the valleys around which were the home of the early settlers. Also, India is the largest democracy in the world, the 7th largest Country in the world, and one of the most ancient civilizations. India invented the game of Chess years back and called it Chaturang (in Sanskrit), meaning 4 members of one army. It was extended later to make 11 members of one army and is the modern-day Chess as we all know.
Well my honest answer would be, NO ! Actually, I am planning to immigrate to Canada for better career prospect in the future. Though, I’ll be having short stays to meet my parents in India every year.
If I would be given an opportunity to relocate to a new part of India, then that place would definitely be Kerala – the god’s own country! Whenever I go there, I always left spellbound by the vibe of the state. Kerala seems nothing less than a heaven for someone who loves to be around the natural pleasures of life.
I love being an Indian. It makes me so proud standing tall with shivers running down my spine as the National Anthem plays before a movie. I like the fact that we wear the cloak of a 5000-year-old civilization proudly and believe we are the upholders of this wonderful legacy. Moreover, I am proud that India has given important mathematical concepts such as zero, decimal, trigonometry, algebra and calculus to the world. Without these, we might still be living in the stone age.
It’s unfortunate that we’re living in a crowded town so there isn’t much to see besides lots of traffic. But on weekends, I go to cabin that my family owns near Jim Corbett National Park. The window of my room at the cabin offers picturesque views. There’s small mystical lake nearby which I can clearly see up in my cabin plus the area surrounded by trees which is just perfect for bird watching.
Yes.. indeed! I love the views from my window. I am a nature lover and every time when I look outside of my window I see magnificent gifts of nature, unseen bird species, pollution free surroundings. The place is like heavenly abode for me.
Yes I am keen to relocate to a house or cabin surrounded by nature. It may sound funny, but I would like to own a tree house in the jungles of Amazon where I could record wildlife activities from my window.
Well, obviously I would be unhappy if I see only monotonous stuff from my window. A beautiful view provides us with healing, restores our souls from tiredness, and lifts our spirits!
Not exactly! It is hard to remember so many names. But I try to practice an extraordinary trick whenever I meet a new person. I examine a person’s face discreetly when I am introduced; try to find an unusual feature, whether ears, hairline, forehead, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, chin, complexion, etc. This way I create an association between that characteristic and the name in my mind.
Like I said, compelling associations that stick in the mind like a TV commercial jingle do help in remembering names. I link the names I want to remember to people, characters or things I am already familiar with. I received this life-changing tip from a famous motivational speaker years ago.
I place great value on truly connecting with other people. It’s one of my personal frustrations that I feel naturally terrible when somebody can’t remember my name.
Sometimes I get carried away during the meetings and as a result I forget people’s names later. But I am improving on this piece-by-piece.
